Our Team is spread across Europe, with a Studio Office in Berlin and a production Office in northern Portugal.

ABOUT THE JOB

We’re expanding rapidly, and to support our Finance Team, we’re looking for a (Senior) Finance & Tax Manager, who can own and lead all tax-related processes across entities, ensure full compliance, and improve structures for scalable growth. You will be the internal tax expert and a key partner to external advisors and local authorities, shaping a solid tax foundation for the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Own all tax-related topics, with a primary focus on cross-border VAT across countries, working closely with external tax providers
• Ensure full compliance with tax regulations, acting as the company’s internal tax contact
• Drive, oversee, and coordinate tax filings, statutory deadlines, and audits, including VAT, OSS/IOSS transitions, and international obligations
• Assess and implement process improvements within tax and accounting to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
• Collaborate and support on financial planning and reporting, ensuring accuracy across entities
• Support month‑end and year‑end closings, ensuring tax correctness in financial statements
• Maintain accurate visibility of cash flow and P&L as it relates to taxation
• Monitor regulatory changes within Germany and the EU and translate them into actionable process updates

ABOUT YOU

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Background in Finance, Tax, or a related field
• At least 5–10 years of experience in international tax, VAT, or tax compliance roles
• Strong expertise in German tax law and EU VAT regulations, ideally with OSS/IOSS experience
• Proficiency in DATEV, ERP/accounting systems, and Excel/Google Sheets
• Hands‑on working style with strong ownership, accountability, and problem‑solving ability
• Comfortable navigating complex tax topics in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment
