Senior Full Stack Engineer - HyperDX

What You’ll Do
- Shape the product: own and build key features for both frontend and backend systems that streamline debugging and monitoring for developers.
- Engage with the community: collaborate with open‑source contributors and customers to solve their challenges and incorporate their feedback into the roadmap.
- Tackle technical challenges: supercharge HyperDX to process petabytes of observability data quickly, and build cloud‑hosted platforms that scale for a growing customer base.

What You Bring
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably building developer tools.
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills (Next.js for frontend, Express for backend).
- Proficiency in React.js.
- SQL proficiency for query generation on ClickHouse.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar container orchestration.
- A passion for open source and the developer community.
- Experience building developer tooling and designing with the developer in mind.
Bonus Points
- Expertise in distributed systems and event ingestion pipelines.
- Experience with columnar databases.
- Strong opinions on observability tools and a vision to improve them 10×.
- Familiarity with Python, Rust, PHP or other languages for building integrations.
- Experience with SDKs.
Compensation
For roles based in the United States, the typical starting salary range is listed above. Premium market ranges may apply in major metro areas such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, and New York City.
