YOUR TASKS:

• The person will be responsible for providing advice and support to multidisciplinary teams on Intellectual Property issues globally at Nordex focusing on a subset of systems/technologies within the product pipeline, to ensure protection of Nordex IP rights and freedom to operate regarding 3rd Party IP rights, in alignment with NX business strategy.
• In particular, the following tasks will be a core part of the work: active participation in NX projects for proactive invention harvesting, patentability and non-infringement assessments, management of own patent portfolio (managing invention disclosures, preparing decision making proposals, reviewing patent application drafts, analysis and response to office actions, oppositions, etc.), trade secret protection, support in preparation and negotiation of technology license agreements.

YOUR PROFILE:

• M.Sc in Engineering, Architecture, Physics or similar.
• Highly valuable additional training in Intellectual Property.
• English C1, valuable German and Spanish.
• Minimum 7 years of experience working on intelectual property.
• Availability to travel.
