Senior Internal Audit Manager

Lutine Bell are and rapidly growing international financial services organisation is seeking a Senior Internal Audit Manager to join its European Internal Audit team based near Frankfurt.

This is an opportunity to join a developing in-house Internal Audit function at an exciting stage of growth, being the regional lead in Germany, the role will play a key part in strengthening governance, risk management and control frameworks across the European business, while working closely with senior leadership and regulatory stakeholders.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of the European audit plan, with particular focus on operations across Germany, Spain and Italy.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver end-to-end risk-based internal audits across European entities
Scope, plan and execute audit engagements, including detailed testing and reporting
Present audit findings to senior management and support the development of remediation plans
Monitor and follow up on audit actions and remediation progress
Contribute to the development of the annual internal audit plan and risk assessment activities
Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple European offices
Promote continuous improvement within internal audit methodologies and practices

Requirements

Strong internal audit experience within the general insurance sector
Knowledge of European regulatory frameworks including Solvency II, EIOPA governance guidelines, and German regulatory expectations
Experience interacting with regulators and senior stakeholders
Proven ability to deliver end-to-end audits and advisory work
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Fluency in German and English is required
