Senior Investment Manager (m/f/d)

Stellenbeschreibung:

Chint Solar is a leading company in the development, financing, implementation, and operation of solar parks. Our goal is to inspire people to actively contribute to the energy transition—and we are taking action now.

Since our launch in 2016, our dedicated and experienced European team has been working on the realization of PV projects in Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, the UK, and Hungary. With over 25 successful projects across Europe, we have an impressive track record and have established ourselves as a major player in the solar industry.

Do you want to be part of the energy transition and use your knowledge to actively contribute to the development and implementation of our solar parks? We are seeking a senior professional with a proven track record of creating value, effectively combining transactional and financial expertise with leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute all M&A and asset monetization activities end-to-end, including transaction structuring, process management, negotiation, and closing, both internally and with external counterparties.
  • Prepare and present investment memoranda, management presentations, and internal approval materials for senior management and investment committees.
  • Identify, engage, and maintain long‑term relationships with institutional investors, strategic partners, and financial advisors across Europe.
  • Conduct comprehensive commercial and financial assessments of renewable energy projects, including valuation with Excel models, scenario analysis, and investment case preparation.
  • Support and advise local development teams on the acquisition of renewable energy projects to maximize the profitability and value in the pipeline.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional decision‑making by working closely with Development, Technical, Legal, Tax, and Financing teams to optimize asset value.
  • Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in renewable energy (solar, BESS, wind) in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or in a project development company within a transaction‑focused role.
  • Proven track record of end‑to‑end transaction responsibility for M&A or asset sales in the European renewable energy market in the double‑digit million euro range and above.
  • Extensive experience in creating presentations and all M&A‑related documents.
  • Advanced skills in financial modeling, valuation, and profitability analysis for renewable energy assets.
  • Established network of investors, lenders, advisors, and industry stakeholders within the European renewable energy sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and drive investment decisions in a fast‑paced, transaction‑driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior executives and external partners.
  • Business‑fluent English is mandatory; strong German language skills are a significant advantage.

What we offer:

  • A high level of responsibility and the freedom to shape your own area of work.
  • A beautiful office in the heart of Hamburg with modern facilities and excellent public transport links.
  • A dynamic, supportive, and collaborative team environment that fosters creativity and mutual growth.
  • Attractive remuneration and additional benefits.
  • Flexible working hours tailored to your individual needs, with options for remote or hybrid work.
  • Support for your health and fitness through "JobRad" (company bike) and an EGYM WELLPASS membership.
  • A meaningful role in a forward‑thinking company dedicated to sustainable innovation in the industry.
  • The opportunity to actively contribute to the global energy transition.
