We are partnering with a leading European investment platform focused on building strong, sustainable businesses through long‑term partnerships with founders and management teams. The firm actively supports mid‑size companies in accelerating their growth via operational excellence, buy‑and‑build strategies, and international expansion.

With a steadily growing portfolio of more than 15 majority investments across the DACH region, the team is now looking to strengthen its Hamburg office with the addition of a (Senior) Investment Manager.

Your role

As a (Senior) Investment Manager, you will be a key member of the investment team, taking ownership across the full investment lifecycle as well as the strategic and operational development of your portfolio companies.

Your responsibilities will include:

Identifying and analyzing attractive target markets and companies, and independently conducting management meetings
Structuring acquisitions and financing solutions
Leading due diligence and negotiation processes through to closing
Developing investment theses and concepts from both a financial and strategic perspective
Taking responsibility for 1–2 portfolio companies, including defining growth and M&A strategies, supporting management teams, identifying add‑on acquisitions, and preparing and executing exit processes

Your profile

Outstanding academic background
6–11 years of professional experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital, Investment Banking, Consulting, Corporate Development, or an active CFO role
Strong transaction experience
Analytical, entrepreneurial mindset with strong communication skills
Experience working closely with founders, entrepreneurs, and C‑level executives
Strong interest in mid‑size companies and operational value creation
Business‑fluent German and English
