About the Role

As a visionary pioneer for digital excellence, you are the driving force behind innovative IT solutions as our next Senior IT Architecture Consultant (f/m/x). Throughout this role you will accompany our customers in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment on their way through complex business problems, accelerated changes and future‑proof technologies. You will join our team full‑time (40 hours per week) and may work across iX locations or fully remote from anywhere in Germany.

Responsibilities

You advise our customers on how to deal with complex business problems and accelerated change
You use your expertise in infrastructure, software and applications to support business processes, applicable technologies and cloud solutions, and design and implement IT architectures based on customer requirements
As part of multidisciplinary teams you coordinate the transformation, creation and maintenance of target architectures and document the analysis steps in Sparx
You make well‑founded decisions to optimise processes, data flows and dependencies to enable technological solutions, and you will also carry out the mapping of frameworks
You create sustainable benefits by designing enterprise architectures and using advanced technologies (cloud, AI)
You ensure the fulfillment of quality requirements
You are responsible for customer acquisition activities and presentations
You don’t hide your knowledge – you support younger colleagues as a mentor and use your expert knowledge to advise on the further development of the team

Qualifications

You have several years of experience as an architecture consultant or similar professional experience in a technical environment
You are fluent in German (C1/C2) and business fluent in English (C1)
You have certifications and experience in the use of proven methods, e.g. TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT, EAM, ARIS or Design Thinking
You have in‑depth knowledge of various technology areas, including cloud computing, data management, application development and integration
You have industry and sector experience of the specific platforms and solutions used there
You enjoy travelling on business to attend on‑site appointments with clients and have the necessary willingness to travel
