Senior Manager- Illicit Trade Prevention (ITP) - DACH Countries

As the lead in illicit Trade Prevention for this region, you will safeguard the Company from legal and reputational risks by ensuring that the genuine products are not diverted into illicit channels, protect the value brands against counterfeiting, support the markets (DACH countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland) in defending the against downtrading to illicit trade, contribute to positioning the Company as a credible partner for law enforcement and government authorities. The Role Rollout and execution:

In alignment with the local management business priorities and ITP global and regional objectives ,

execute ITP strategies to address key illicit trade issues in the DACH countries, with a focus on defending the business and protecting the integrity of products. Investigations and Enforcement: Manage investigative consultants and projects, generate information on illicit activities and criminal networks involved in illegal manufacturing and/or distribution of products. Build compelling evidence and intelligence packages for enforcement and policy engagement to deliver on objectives and KPIs. Public-Private Partnerships: Engage with national (and where relevant international) law enforcement, NGOs and IGOs, and provide support by conducting capability building activities and position them as a credible partner for law enforcement, government authorities and society in the fight against illicit trade, acting as the Subject Matter Expert. The Person Fluent English and German - English is the organisation’s standard communication language. Prior experience working as an Executive officer in German intelligence, Federal Customs Service, law enforcement, or agencies, combating smuggling or other illicit activities,

is essential. Deep understanding of various types of illegal trade and (financial) crimes. You will need credible engagement with authorities, including law enforcement, to be successful in the role. Strategic Thinking - The ability to develop and execute effective anti-illicit trade programs, including risk assessment, intelligence gathering, and collaboration with relevant stakeholders, is essential. Leadership skills - Forging and maintaining relations of trust with stakeholders, partners and external authorities are key to the role.
