As the Senior Manager Talent Acquisition (Executive Search) (m/f/d) you will lead the executive talent acquisition strategy across the organization, with a focus on building a world‑class leadership pipeline. Based in Stuttgart, you will oversee a team of executive recruiters and collaborate directly with senior executives, HR leadership, and external partners to drive strategic hiring decisions that shape the future of the business. This role demands a deep expertise in executive search, organizational design, and stakeholder influence across global markets.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Design and implement a global executive search strategy aligned with business priorities and succession planning.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of executive recruiters and sourcers across regions. Serve as a strategic advisor to C‑suite leaders, influencing talent decisions and workforce planning.
  • Leverage market insights, competitive intelligence, and data analytics to inform search strategies and talent decisions.
  • Partner with communications and brand teams to elevate the company’s executive employer value proposition across Europe and globally.
  • Champion inclusive hiring practices and ensure diverse representation in executive pipelines.
  • Oversee relationships with retained search firms, negotiating contracts and ensuring alignment with internal standards.
  • Ensure all executive search activities comply with European labor laws, internal policies, and confidentiality standards.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to design and execute high‑impact onboarding experiences for senior hires.
  • Lead strategic projects such as leadership assessments, talent reviews, and organizational design efforts.

Show your expertise

  • Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with 5+ years in executive search leadership
  • Previous management experience leading recruitment teams is required
  • Proven success in building and leading executive search functions within global organizations
  • Deep understanding of European labor markets, especially Germany
  • Fluent in English; German proficiency strongly preferred
  • Exceptional leadership, influence, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with executive search platforms, ATS, CRM, and talent analytics tools
  • Ability to work on‑site in Stuttgart at least 3 days per week
