Senior Network Architect (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
As a Senior Network Architect, you will be responsible for the design, integration, and optimization of hybrid network architectures spanning both terrestrial and non‑terrestrial domains. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure resilient, scalable, and secure connectivity solutions that meet the needs of mission‑critical applications such as satellite communications and autonomous systems.
- Develop hybrid network architectures combining terrestrial and non‑terrestrial platforms based on TCP/IP principles
- Lead the integration of satellite and terrestrial networks, ensuring seamless interoperability
- Optimize network performance, focusing on scalability, latency, and Quality of Service (QoS)
- Collaborate with vendors to implement routing policies and network services
- Oversee the deployment of secure, resilient networks for mission‑critical applications
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to internal stakeholders and partners
Your Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Eperience in network architecture, with a focus on hybrid or non‑terrestrial environments
- Strong knowledge of IP networking, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS‑IS), and network security
- Experience with satellite communication systems and ground segment integration
- Familiarity with SDN/NFV, automation tools (e.g., Ansible, NetConf/YANG), and Linux systems
- Knowledge of 5G/6G architectures and NTN (Non‑Terrestrial Networks) integration is a plus
