Senior Network Management Specialist – Top Secret Clearance – TekSynap • Wiesbaden, Hesse, Germany

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Clearance: Current U.S. Top Secret clearance required (T5 Investigation). (Elevated/Privileged Access).
• Education: Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in Engineering or Computer Science OR Associates degree plus seven (7) years of specialized experience.
• Experience:
  • Four (4) years of experience maintaining and developing TCP/IP networks (on Ethernet, ATM/SONET and/or wide area transports).
  • Three (3) years must be in direct experience with U.S. military command and control or commercial LAN/WAN communication systems.
• Certification: CCNA OR CCNP Security OR Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist (JNCIS).
• Secondary Clearance: Current U.S. Secret clearance required (T5 Investigation). (Elevated/Privileged Access).

Responsibilities

The Senior Network Management Specialist ensures high‑fidelity network situational awareness, operational readiness, accurate performance reporting, and resilient enterprise monitoring architectures essential for defending the European theaters DoD INA networks.

The Senior Network Management Specialist will manage enterprise monitoring stacks (Spectrum/CAPC/NFA), performance analytics and availability reporting; manage baselines, templates and SLA dashboards. They will operate and maintain enterprise network monitoring tools, develop and optimize network monitoring capabilities, support performance management and reporting, maintain network configuration backups and baselines, and troubleshoot network issues.
