Senior PR Manager - Berlin

As a Senior PR Consultant at Redgert Comms, you will be responsible for leading and executing projects with a focus on generating media attention for our clients. You will work closely with clients from corporates to fast-growing startups across a range of industries (including but not limited to energy & cleantech, fintech, hospitality and healthcare) and play a key role in developing strategic communication efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic advisory and client relationship management
• Media monitoring and news evaluation
• Development of strategic PR plans and campaigns
• Writing and producing press materials (press releases, Q&A documents, op-eds)
• Identifying relevant and newsworthy PR angles
• Building and maintaining strong media relations
• Ensuring high-quality and timely project delivery
• Support on new business activities (helping the agency win new clients)
• Identifying new business opportunities and broadening one's own network of new business leads
• Providing counsel and support in crisis communication situations
• Team management & activity planning

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is driven, creative, curious, and detail-oriented, with a strong interest in both business and societal issues at the intersection of tech.

• You have a solid professional experience in PR but have also developed skills in other areas like influencer marketing, digital/social media, etc. or are open to looking at communications from a 360° perspective
• You have worked in a PR or comms agency
• You are strongly interested in Tech topics and would be happy to talk all things Tech everyday at work
• You have worked or want to work in an international environment. You are very comfortable interacting in English at professional level (both written and spoken) and you are fluent in German (both written and spoken)
• You have already managed a team or are looking forward to learning how to
• You are curious by nature, ask a lot of questions and like to stay connected to the news
• You have an eye for detail and people describe you as organized
• You enjoy working with a team
• You are ambitious, proactive and hungry for success
• You understand that treating people with respect at all times is not an option
• You have additional experience in Public Affairs or crisis communication (considered a plus)
