About the opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager with a desire to develop innovative products, and an innate interest in financial technology to join our Cards & Digital Wallets Group. The Cards & Digital Wallets Group is split between Barcelona and Berlin offices, which are the main product & tech hubs for N26 globally.

As a Senior Product Manager in the Cards & Digital Wallets Group, you will be responsible for the cards lifecycle, from card ordering to onboarding and utilisation; aiming to introduce innovative card products while maintaining and scaling up a secure, reliable and frictionless cards experience for N26 users globally.

• Be responsible for the cards ordering and lifecycle flow for digital and physical card payments, aiming to improve user growth and revenue from Cards products.
• Partner with stakeholders across N26 to define your team goals and drive it to achieve success.
• Receive support from different areas in the company in order to identify pain points and opportunities, brainstorm solutions and impact customers' lives.
• Work with other product managers, designers and engineers across the organization to improve the day to day cards experience for N26 customers.
• Collaborate with external partners aiming to improve our cards ordering and delivery performance and be updated with the latest market trends.
• Build a holistic view of the challenges and opportunities, and then develop technical solutions that empower our customers to make card flows frictionless and secure.
• Ensure product rollouts are delivered successfully by working cross-functionally with local market teams, marketing, operations, compliance, and engineering.
• Give a great purpose to your SQL skills to measure impact and track results.

• 5+ years experience in Product Management ideally gained in a FinTech, banking environment, cards products (or similar).
• Strong skills with UX and innovation when it comes to driving growth and revenue.
• Experience with Cards networks (VISA, AMEX, Mastercard), or Cards' processors.
• STEM, business, economics undergraduate. MBA, MS or equivalent would be a plus.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills (you are familiar with SQL).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of agile product development and delivery.
• Excellent technical acumen, curiosity, and familiarity with new technologies, API's, programming languages, and databases.
• Previous experience dealing with high engaged third party providers.
