We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to strengthen our team in Cologne, Germany . In this role, you will take full end-to-end ownership of our Electronic Cash Register solution "Genius" and the loyalty platform " COMO" for the German market. You will define and drive product strategy, manage the complete product lifecycle, lead go-to-market initiatives, and ensure the commercial success of both products in close collaboration with partners, merchants, and internal stakeholders.
Strategy & Roadmap
Define and maintain clear product strategies and roadmaps for Genius (ECR) and COMO (loyalty) in Germany
Analyse market trends, competitive offerings, regulatory developments and customer requirements
Align local roadmaps with group product vision and business goals
Product Lifecycle Management
Own the full lifecycle of Genius and COMO: ideation, business case, specification, development, pilot, launch, enhancement, and end-of-life
Translate merchant and partner requirements into functional specifications and backlog items
Manage third-party suppliers and technology partners for both Genius and COMO
Go-to-Market & Commercial Management
Plan and execute product launches, updates, and campaigns for Genius and COMO in cooperation with Sales, Marketing, and Partner Management
Support the definition of pricing, packaging and bundling
Provide sales enablement material, demos, FAQs and competitive positioning for both products
Operations & Compliance
Ensure all releases for Genius and COMO comply with regulatory and security requirements and meet internal quality standards
Define UAT scope, acceptance criteria and release readiness for both products
Monitor KPIs such as adoption, transaction volume, loyalty participation, revenue, uptime, and merchant satisfactionStakeholder Management
Act as product ambassador for Genius and COMO and represent the products internally and externally
Collaborate closely with Compliance, Risk, Legal, Finance, Implementation, Customer Support, and partners
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in Product Management or Business Development for POS/ECR, ideally in combination with loyalty platforms
Proven success in launching and scaling cash registers in the German market
Solid knowledge of retail processes, ECR integrations, ideally combined with loyalty systems
Familiarity with relevant regulations (KassenSichV, BAIT/MaRisk, PCI DSS, DORA) and their impact on products
Strong commercial acumen and ability to build business cases
Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with payment acceptance / Merchant Acquiring (card acquiring, SoftPOS, terminals)
Knowledge of data analytics and customer insight tools to support loyalty strategies
Strategic thinking with a clear focus on execution
Strong analytical skills, able to interpret data and translate into action
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain complex topics to non-experts
Sound understanding of commercial levers and P&L impact
Customer-centric and solution-oriented mindset
High sense of ownership and accountability
Collaborative, able to work across departments and with external partners
Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
