To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed and experiencedSenior Project Lead , who will lead the contracting phase of large-scale BESS projects in Germany. Based in Munich (hybrid optional), you will be responsible for driving our projects toFinancial Close , managing key contracts, and ensuring seamless execution of project agreements. This role is critical in shaping the successful realization of energy storage projects across Europe.

Your profile:

• Minimum of 10 years of working experience, with at least 5 years in a relevant project management role in energy, infrastructure, or large-scale projects.

• Extensive experience in managing complex contracts, particularly in energy or infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on achieving Financial Close.

• Overseeing the entire development phase of our projects, being involved in preliminary (development) matters such as grid connection, permitting and stakeholder engagement, but end responsible for the team delivering on obtaining Financial Close.

• Proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong focus on interface management between key project agreements (Permit, Procurement, Offtake, Financing, Land Lease, etc.).

• Ability to handle high-pressure situations, balancing multiple tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.

• Fluent written and spoken English and German.

Your tasks:

• Take full ownership of the contracting phase of BESS projects, ensuring timely achievement of Financial Close.

• Lead the Project team in a matrix set-up towards signing of key project agreements.

• Coordinate and interface with internal teams (Development, Procurement, Origination, and Financing) to ensure all project requirements are met and all documents are signed.

• Collaborate with external stakeholders where necessary to facilitate project approval processes.

• Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, providing solutions to ensure project success.

• Lead and mentor the project team, ensuring a smooth and efficient execution of the contracting phase.
