Senior Project Manager - Procurement (U.S. Remote Eligible)

Job Description Summary

The I&C Project Manager - Procurement will act as the primary interface between engineering, sourcing, quality, and external suppliers to acquire and expedite delivery of direct project materials and services. The I&C Project Manager - Procurement is responsible for preparing factory release documentation and logistical coordination as required to ship finished product to the customer on schedule.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Total ownership of project procurements i.e., research, RFQ, select best method, order placement, tracking, status, administer PO changes, and AP invoice reconciliation.
• Create purchase requisitions and ensure that technical order requirements are correct on the purchase order.
• Analyze engineering drawings, specifications and Bill of Material for accuracy, correct revision level, and compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare Sales orders for RMA, incoming stocking orders, and outbound customer shipments and obtain approvals as required.
• Coordinate with GE logistics personnel to schedule outgoing customer shipments and material transfers (MTRs as needed).
• Process nonconformance reports (NCR) for incoming material with defects in Oracle ERP.
• Initiate parts workflow for shelf-life evaluation, parts equivalency, and obsolescence issues.
• Manage supplier change requests (SCRs) and communicate to engineering and project manager upon discovery.
• Maintain detailed records and/or project procurement files.
• Create, revise, obtain approvals of item master files via the IAT and/or nuclear ERP system.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• OR a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Project Management/Procurement.

Eligibility Requirements

• The preferred work location is the Wilmington, NC Headquarters but highly qualified remote candidates will be considered. Relocation assistance provided.

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
