Deutsche Bank

Senior Test Automation Engineer (f/m/x) – Corporate Bank Technology - DAC

Stellenbeschreibung:

Position Overview

Deutsche Bank Technology is a global team of tech specialists, spread across multiple trading hubs and tech centres. We have a strong focus on promoting technical excellence – our engineers work at the forefront of financial services innovation using cutting‑edge technologies.

Digital Assets and Crypto‑currencies

Join our innovative team in the fast‑evolving world of digital assets and cryptocurrencies, where you’ll develop and secure decentralized systems using blockchain technology. This domain encompasses creating and managing digital currencies, tokenized assets, and NFTs, enabling secure, transparent, and efficient peer‑to‑peer value exchange without intermediaries.

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer (f/m/x), you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications for a crypto‑currency platform in the Corporate Bank department. Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs and support activities for the corporate systems architecture. Employees work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications and typically have in‑depth knowledge of development tools and languages. The role is an individual contributor requiring significant relevant experience.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • You ensure, in close collaboration with all developers, test automation.
  • You proactively search for flaws in our software by conducting explorative tests.
  • You work closely with development team and business to ensure that test cases reflect all requirements, and all relevant scenarios are covered.
  • You plan, execute and document manual tests for validating the features delivered by your squad.
  • You work in a cross‑disciplinary agile team with shared responsibility and high autonomy and actively engage in the test and engineering community, share your knowledge, and build up a solid network.

Your Skills And Experiences

  • University degree with technological or scientific focus or equivalent working experience.
  • Practical experience in software testing: creation, execution, documentation, design, implementation, and integration of automated tests.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence and with test automation frameworks / test tools like HP ALM, Selenium, Postman and Newman. Good knowledge of Java.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle, writing reusable and maintainable code, and hands‑on experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), particularly using Jenkins (bonus point for hands‑on experience with GitHub actions).
  • A team player, with strong English communication skills, who enjoys sharing knowledge and best practices, learns quickly, listens carefully, and is willing to mentor junior engineers.

What We Offer

We provide you with a comprehensive portfolio of benefits and offerings to support both your private and professional needs.

  • We offer mental health awareness training and consultation for difficult life situations.
  • We support you in staying physically fit through health check‑ups, vaccination drives and advice on healthy living and nutrition.
  • You can benefit from networking opportunities, a flexible working arrangement (including part‑time, hybrid), an extensive culture of diversity, equity and inclusion, and PME family service.
  • We provide financial security through pension plans, banking services, company bicycle or “Deutschlandticket”.

We strive for a company culture where we give our best everyday. This includes responsible action, economic thinking, initiative and goal‑oriented collaboration.

We celebrate the successes of our employees together and are united as the Deutsche Bank group.

We welcome applications from all people and promote a positive, fair and inclusive working environment.
