Ensure the highest quality for our partner-facing integration team, directly impacting partner satisfaction and seamless business operations through rigorous testing (functional, regression, integration) of external APIs and their connections to internal services.
Develop and implement thorough test plans, requirements, and user scenarios for external APIs and their connections to internal services, ensuring partner satisfaction and smooth business operations.
Plan, prioritize, and estimate all testing activities, with a strong emphasis on automating repetitive tests.
Configure and prepare test environments and data sets for rigorous and effective testing.
Coordinate and align testing efforts with other teams to ensure a collaborative QA process.
Take the lead in troubleshooting and quickly resolving any issues reported by partners and our connected teams.
Create and maintain clear documentation for processes, bugs, and testing tools to support ongoing improvement.
Your heroic skills:
5 years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer in a large company, ideally with a multi-national user/business base.
Experienced in creating clear test plans and user scenarios, reviewing requirements for testability, and ensuring QA procedures are followed.
Hands‑on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright.
Strong programming skills (e.g., Java/JavaScript).
In-depth knowledge and hands‑on experience with various API testing tools (e.g., REST Assured, Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, Insomnia).
Experience in testing applications built on a Microservices architecture, understanding how different services interact and the challenges involved in testing distributed systems.
Ability to design, develop, and execute comprehensive API test cases, including functional, performance, security, and integration tests.
Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and experience integrating automated tests into build and deployment pipelines.
Familiarity with tools and practices for monitoring API performance, errors, and logs in production and staging environments to quickly identify and diagnose issues.
Eagerness to work in a fast‑paced, fault‑tolerant, agile environment on cross‑functional teams.
Strong skills in validating data consistency and integrity across different services and databases after API interactions, including familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Basic understanding of API security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP API Security Top 10) and experience in performing basic security tests.
Ability to make independent decisions and take ownership.
You are pragmatic who understands what is needed to get things done in a collaborative manner.
