Siemens Energy Graduate Program - Engineer in Offshore Automation (m/f/d)

Recent graduates or early‑career professionals who are enthusiastic about innovation and leadership are invited to join the Siemens Energy Graduate Program. The two‑year program offers a mix of training, mentoring, and hands‑on projects across three assignments, including an eight‑month international placement. You will be part of the offshore automation team working on grid connection projects and will collaborate with project managers, senior engineers, and technical experts to plan, execute, and monitor grid‑stabilisation initiatives.

What you can expect

During the programme you will:

• Engage in live projects that contribute to the development of offshore HVDC platforms.
• Apply your knowledge to planning, execution, and monitoring of grid‑stabilisation projects.
• Participate in impact‑focused digital transformation initiatives, integrating advanced technologies and cybersecurity measures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and meeting materials to support decision‑making.

What you bring

• Proactive approach and ownership of your projects.
• Strong analytical skills, innovative thinking, and technical proficiency, with adaptability, collaboration, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Relevant work experience (internships or working‑student roles) in the electric power industry; up to 36 months of professional experience is welcome.
• A master’s or doctoral degree in electrical, automation or IT engineering (or related field); additional certifications or coursework in automation, control systems, or cybersecurity are desirable.
• Minimum 3 months of international experience through study or work.
• Excellent English; willingness to travel internationally; German language skills are a plus.
