About the Role

Our client is a leading provider of power cable infrastructure projects across Germany and Europe. We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day on-site installation and construction activities in Bavaria.

This role is critical to ensuring safe, high-quality, and on-time project delivery through close coordination with the Customer, subcontractors, and internal project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise pre-lay activities for power cable systems and act as the primary on-site liaison with the Customer and third parties.
• Coordinate daily planning between the Customer, Civil Works contractors, and Cable Laying subcontractors.
• Monitor cable laying operations to ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
• Conduct civil works checks and infrastructure inspections.
• Maintain detailed daily site reports and activity logs.
• Supervise backfilling operations, ensuring proper cable protection and quality standards.
• Manage on-site personnel, logistics, and assets.
• Enforce HSE policies and ensure strict adherence to site safety rules.
• Support preparation of method statements and technical documentation in collaboration with Installation Engineering.
• Assist management with progress tracking, issue reporting, and workflow optimization.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in construction or installation site supervision (cable industry preferred).
• Practical knowledge of land-based installation activities and technical documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (knowledge of cable/accessory design is a plus).
• Strong leadership and coordination skills.
• Excellent communication skills in client and subcontractor environments.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented.
• Proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD , and web-based tools.
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel frequently and spend extended time on-site (60–70%).
