Specialist Strategy & Operations R&D, P&L & Procurement Controlling (m/f/d)

TRATON is building a global finance organization that partners with the Group Industrial Functions to drive business value and shape the future. We are looking for a proactive and structured professional to join our Group R&D, P&L and Procurement Controlling team in a role closely supporting senior leadership. The position combines strategic coordination, management support, and operational execution within a globally operating group, offering direct exposure to decision-making and strong development opportunities.

Job description

• Active contribution to shaping and steering the division’s strategic direction in close collaboration with senior management and key stakeholders
• Project lead for selected strategic and operational initiatives to continuously enhance processes, structures, and performance
• Independent coordination, preparation, and facilitation of senior management and board-level meetings and committees
• Development of high-quality decision papers, presentations, and briefings for top Management
• Responsibility for budget planning, monitoring, and reporting at divisional level
• Planning, moderation, and follow-up of divisional workshops, leadership meetings, and team events in an international environment

Profile description

• University degree in economics, business or comparable qualification
• Ability to combine a big picture perspective with attention to details
• Strong analytical skills, enabling the interpretation of complex data and provision of insightful recommendations
• Service mindset, solution orientation and learning attitude are equally important as some practical experience
• Comfortable working independently while interacting with senior leaders
• Strong social & English communication skills to foster cross-functional and international collaboration
