As a Strategy Consultant Banking – digital euro & currencies (f/m/x), you will combine your expertise with strategic advisory skills and cutting-edge technology to drive meaningful change in the financial sector.

Does this sound like you? Then we are looking for you to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis (40 hours per week) at one of our IBM iX offices in Germany or working remotely from anywhere in Germany.

Our team, the “Blue Experts,” consists of permanent and freelance employees with expertise in consulting, strategy and creative communication solutions. We work across industries to meet the demands of constant change and enable the implementation of new AI solutions, for example. With our services, we provide comprehensive support for our clients. Our goal is to act as a strategic partner, developing customized concepts and end-to-end solutions that specifically improve transformation and communication.

Your tasks

• As an expert in “Digital Currencies” and/or “Digital Euro”, you will support clients in implementing and advancing innovative financial solutions
• You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, developing compelling proposals and value-driven business cases to help them achieve their business objectives
• You analyze your customers’ business requirements, translate them into clear and precise requirements, and create detailed functional and technical specifications
• Together with the team, you develop future-proof architecture plans that take into account both the current state of the company and future requirements, and develop roadmaps for their implementation
• You will work on projects that integrate strategy, processes, technology, and information to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize business value
• With your excellent German language skills (minimum C1 level) and good English proficiency (minimum B2 level), you will facilitate effective communication and collaboration within international teams

Your skills

• You already have relevant professional experience in banking and payment transactions, and you are familiar with “digital currencies” and/or the “digital euro”
• You have experience in analyzing business requirements and creating detailed design and technical specifications
• You have a good understanding of strategic architecture planning and are able to develop roadmaps for future technologies and business processes
• You are a solution-oriented and innovation-driven consultant who acts as a trusted partner to clients in overcoming business challenges
• Your excellent German language skills (minimum C1 level) and good English proficiency (minimum B2 level) enable you to communicate effectively in an international environment
