We now seek a highly qualified and motivated study nurse (f/m/d) to support a clinical study in the field of diabetes healthcare in part‑time (up to 10 h/w).
The Chair of Biological Imaging (CBI) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and the Institute of Biological and Medical Imaging (IBMI) at Helmholtz Munich form an integrated, multi‑disciplinary research unit that provides bioengineering solutions to urgent societal needs. CBI scientists develop next‑generation imaging and sensing methods to measure previously inaccessible properties of living systems, catalyzing breakthroughs in biology, medicine, and the environment. Comprising 12 interdisciplinary laboratories and scientists from more than 25 countries, CBI offers state‑of‑the‑art infrastructure for innovative research and an ideal environment to accelerate your career.
The EU‑funded project OPTOMICS seeks to revolutionise type 2 diabetes healthcare by combining molecular phenotyping, advanced optoacoustic imaging, and artificial intelligence‑driven computational models. Its goal is to develop and validate a digital twin that enables earlier prediction, improved patient stratification, and better prevention of diabetes and its complications.
We offer the unique chance to play an active role and make a difference in future healthcare. As a part‑time contract (10 h/w) until the end of the OPTOMICS project in December 2026, salary will be commensurate with work experience and seniority (TV‑L E8). CBI strongly believes in scientific excellence and innovation and welcomes diversity. The position is suitable for filling with severely disabled persons; such applicants will be given preference if they have generally equivalent suitability, ability, and professional performance.
