Supply Chain Central Europe is responsible for the supply chain of nearly all liquid chemicals of EU Europe Chemicals. From contact to supplier, logistic providers and customers everything is in hand.

To strengthen our team in Hamburg, we are looking for a motivated Supply Chain Operations Manager (m/f/d). This is a temporary position for a period of 2 years.

Your tasks:

• Act as an interface on operational level to suppliers and customers and provide a high level of service in after‑sales and after‑purchase services.
• Contribute to a smooth operational planning of supply chains for the respective product group, the market or customer segment in scope.
• Process business transactions in SAP SD/MM and/or TM.
• Support in executing all relevant month‑ and year‑end closing checks and activities.
• Work in accordance with internal processes and quality regulations (Aris, ISO, HELM‑Principles) and report deviations to ensure optimization.
• Monitor compliance with all relevant external regulations (e.g. dangerous goods, customs, foreign trade, tax, etc.) and process external complaint receipts by a business partner (8‑D report).
• Ensure a balance between cost‑conscious Supply Chain Management and maximum possible service to customers and suppliers.
• Consult and collaborate with Product‑ and Sales‑Management to address supply‑chain or logistics specific issues and observe market developments.

Your profile:

• Logistical background and several years of professional experience in this area.
• Familiarity with dangerous goods requirements, tax regulations and foreign trade standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with SAP.
• Open and team‑oriented contact person with a service‑oriented mindset.
• Fluent command of written and spoken English; additional foreign language skills are an advantage.
