Your Role

• Comprehensive Advisory: Provide strategic tax advice to a diverse portfolio of clients, including medium-sized companies, startups, and private individuals.
• Financial Statements: Oversee and review the preparation of annual financial statements and complex tax returns.
• Audit Representation: Accompany and manage tax audits, acting as the primary point of contact for tax authorities.
• Special Projects: Lead projects related to corporate restructuring, succession planning, and international tax issues.
• Quality Management: Ensure all work meets the highest professional standards and complies with the latest tax legislation.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior staff and tax assistants, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Your Qualifications

• Certification: Successfully completed the German Tax Advisor (Steuerberater) examination.
• Experience: Several years of professional experience in tax consultancy or a similar professional service firm.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of German tax law (HGB and tax law); knowledge of international tax law is an advantage.
• IT Proficiency: Advanced skills in DATEV software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of client service orientation.
• Languages: Native or fluent proficiency in German (C2 level) is mandatory; good English skills are preferred.
