Job Description

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Tax Compliance Manager to join our organization in Hannover, Germany. In this role, you will ensure full compliance with German tax regulations and international tax requirements, manage complex tax compliance processes, coordinate with internal departments and external tax authorities, and provide strategic guidance on tax‑related matters.

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive tax compliance strategies aligned with German tax law and international regulations
• Conduct and evaluate regular risk reports and report findings to management
• Communicate and coordinate with reporting units
• Organize, create, and deliver training sessions
• Identify weaknesses in the Tax CMS / Tax Risk Management and develop, implement, and follow up on corrective measures
• Coordinate, monitor, and actively consult regarding tax clauses in separation agreements, including related documents
• Clarify and respond to inquiries concerning tax clauses in segregation agreements

Qualifications

• Academic degree in law, business administration, or a comparable qualification
• Successfully passed the German tax advisor examination
• Practical experience in the industry with tax compliance management systems (Tax CMS) and/or in managing separation agreements is desirable
• Affinity for legal work
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• High level of commitment and assertiveness
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience with or interest in process automation and the use of artificial intelligence
