Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager VAT(m/f/diverse)in Frankfurt am Main or Hannovertosupportour VAT functionand ourbusiness operations with expert VAT advice.

• Providing VATadvisory across the Group to ensure robust VAT compliance andsupport tomitigate VAT risks
• Ensure VAT compliance by timely and accurate filings
• Support and perform VAT registrations
• Workalongsidewith professional tax advisors to obtain accurate, timely and practical advice on VAT matters
• Monitor new VAT legislation and advise business operations on their impact on the business
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance VAT reporting and compliance
• Support tax team and operating entities from a VAT perspective
• Support with tax audits
• Strong knowledge in EU chain transactions and triangular supplies

Qualifications

The ideal candidate (m/f/diverse) will possess the following qualifications:

• Academic degree in tax, economy, or law; professional tax certifications are a plus, but not a must have(e.g.,Steuerberater)
• Several years of experiencein the fieldofVAT(German VAT Act and EU VAT Directive), ideally in a multinational corporation or a Big Four environment
• Strong understanding of domestic and international tax regulations
• Proven experience in working with tax authoritiesand managing tax matters in multiple jurisdictions
• Fluent German and good English skills
