Team Lead – Corporate Tax (m/w/d) | Augsburg (Hybrid)

At Protodigy , we’re hiring for a respected professional services partnership powering mid‑market clients with integrated tax, legal, and audit expertise. You’ll lead a high‑performing Corporate Tax team, own a portfolio, and shape smarter ways of working, without losing the human touch.

What you’ll lead & deliver

• Coach, organise, and inspire a Corporate Tax team (c. 5–10)
• Own a client book end-to-end: accounting, VAT, annual accounts, returns
• Advise across legal forms; act as first point of contact for complex tax matters
• Track team/individual revenue, quality, and deadlines
• Drive process optimisation and digital tooling (DATEV, etc.)
• Collaborate closely with legal and audit colleagues

What you bring

• Completed qualification: Steuerfachangestellte:r , Steuerfachwirt:in , Bilanzbuchhalter:in , or Steuerberater:in
• 5+ years in a Kanzlei environment, advising mid‑sized clients
• DATEV mastery; German C2 , English B1
• Credible leadership potential (people lead experience a plus)
• Structured, reliable, client‑centred; thrives on ownership
