Technical expert for certification of international shipments (f/m/d)

Job Description

Initially a two-year fixed-term contract.

• Conduct technical reviews of test reports, inspection reports, factory audit reports, and other technical documents to ensure compliance with conformity regulations and company policies.
• Select and coordinate factory audit teams for Type 3 or Type 5 sales programs in accordance with ISO/IEC 17067 and other conformity assessment programs, making certification decisions based on review results.
• Manage pre-shipment inspections, issue certificates (e.g., CoC, CoI, TIR), and upload required documents to the secure shipping platform.
• Coordinate with customers to gather necessary documentation for Certificate of Conformity issuance, address technical inquiries, and relay feedback to improve service quality.
• Process applications for Conformity Assessment Programs, assign technical officers based on product categories, and ensure compliance with qualification matrix requirements.

Experience & Further Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a MINT field (e.g., Natural Sciences, Engineering, or related disciplines).
• Proficient in MS Office programs (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluent in English (C1 level) and German (B2 level) for effective communication.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Possess strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills to evaluate complex technical information.
