Technical Product Owner Duct/Sensors (80-100%)

Summary As a Technical Product Manager, you will be the global contact person for our air sensor range at the Großröhrsdorf site. You have global responsibility for this product segment – from the initial idea and development to market launch and later maintenance in the life cycle. You will develop new product concepts, ensure a consistent product range strategy, lead new developments in terms of technology and content, coordinate the optimisation of existing components and contribute your ideas to international projects – in a dynamic environment with plenty of freedom for design.

What you’ll do

• Global technical contact for the air sensor range – in development projects, in the assortment strategy and throughout the entire product life cycle
• Central point of contact for technical decisions vis‑à‑vis project management, specialists and other stakeholders from product management, production, quality, electronics, software development and verification
• Responsibility for scope, schedule and budget in new development projects of air duct and environmental sensors
• Ensure complete, consistent, validated, and verified product requirements
• Ensuring the implementation of compliant, valid and technically feasible products
• Leading the interdisciplinary project team in terms of content and ensuring a smooth professional exchange
• Transparent reporting to the project, steering committee and management

Who you are

• You have a technical degree and several years of experience in the development of industrial products with medium to high quantities – ideally in the field of sensor technology
• You have in-depth knowledge of sensor technology and its integration into (field) devices as well as a solid understanding of electronics, software and mechanics; Experience in the HVAC environment is a plus
• You have proven experience in a content‑related leadership role, work independently, think analytically and approach challenges in a structured and solution‑oriented manner
• You have a high level of initiative, want to actively shape our air sensor range, communicate clearly and take responsibility in a dynamic environment to move projects forward
• You communicate confidently and fluently in German and English
