About the Opportunity:

Northwest Talent Solutions LLC (NWTS) is partnering with a leading global innovator in medical technology to hire a passionate Technical Sales & Application Specialist. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in molecular biology, microbiology, or medical diagnostics who thrive at the intersection of science, client engagement, and cutting-edge healthcare technology.

You'll provide technical and scientific consultation to hospitals, universities, and private laboratories across the region, empowering customers to achieve optimal outcomes using advanced molecular diagnostic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver on-site and virtual scientific and technical consultation to laboratory clients across clinical, academic, and research environments.

• Conduct hands-on product demonstrations, trainings, and post-installation support for molecular and microbiological diagnostic systems.

• Collaborate with sales, product management, and technical service teams to drive adoption of new diagnostic technologies.

• Lead and support validation, verification, and system optimization activities in customer labs.

• Troubleshoot application and instrumentation issues both on-site and remotely.

• Represent the company at conferences, workshops, and scientific events, showcasing product excellence and innovation.

• Document and communicate client feedback to inform product development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or equivalent laboratory science field (MTA/BTA/CTA also welcome).

• 13 years of relevant technical or applications support experience within diagnostics, life sciences, or healthcare.

• Proven experience with Real-Time PCR assays and clinical microbiology (pathogens, hospital-associated infections, or STI diagnostics preferred).

• Strong customer-facing and presentation skills, with a consultative mindset.

• Fluent German and strong English communication skills (written & spoken).

• Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational ability.

• Willingness to travel regularly within the Hamburg Hannover region and occasionally across Germany.
