Job Overview

We are looking for a Technical Software Engineer. He is the on‑site software expert. He debugs software issues, refines runbooks, oversees deployments, collaborates with engineering teams, and supports the seamless operation of robotics and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform first‑pass analysis of software issues using logs, system behavior, and timestamps.
• Navigate Linux systems, services, and directories to support troubleshooting.
• Manage image updates, releases, versioning, and system readiness checks.
• Understand code structure and logic to locate faults (no coding required).
• Capture recurring issues, edge cases, and improve technical procedures.
• Work closely with software engineers and clearly convey technical findings.
• Isolate root causes quickly in a beta environment with incomplete data.
• Know how software interacts with robotic hardware and workcell logic.
• Remain effective amid rapid code changes, shifting behaviors, and constant iteration.
• Translate complex software issues into actionable insights for non‑software teams.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical thinker with proficiency in Linux.
• Solid understanding of code behavior; excellent documentation skills.
• Experience with robotics/automation systems and how software interacts with hardware.
• Adaptability, working effectively in a highly dynamic, ambiguous environment.
• Clear communication skills, translating complex technical issues for non‑technical stakeholders.
