Technical Superintendent (all genders)

Your tasks Technical support and monitoring of the assigned ships Ensuring compliance with classification and flag state regulations as well as international safety and environmental standards (ISM, ISPS, MLC) Planning, organizing and accompanying dry-dockings, repairs and other activities related to vessels’ performances Budgeting and cost control in the technical area Close collaboration within our ship management team and internal departments (Crewing, Chartering, Procurement) Selection, management and monitoring of external service providers and suppliers Participation in audits and inspections, including preparation and follow-up Continuous optimization of operating processes to increase efficiency and safety Daily maintenance and administration of the vessels Regular vessel visits

Your profile Completed studies in marine engineering, naval architecture, maritime technology (or similar) or completed training as a marine engineer with several years of seafaring experience, several years of professional experience as a technical inspector in a shipping company or practical experience as a senior engineer (preferably as a chief engineer) on seagoing vessels Solid knowledge of maritime regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, classification guidelines) Ideally experience in planning and executing dry-dock projects Proficient with MS Office and typical technical management systems (e.g., PMS) Good English and German skills, spoken and written Strong technical understanding and analytical thinking High commitment and ability to work under pressure Organizational strength and cost awareness Team and communication skills Sense of responsibility and solution-oriented work approach Willingness to undertake international business travel and aboard assignments Driver’s licence
