Technology Care Coordinator – LumiCare (Merakey Affiliate)

LumiCare (A Merakey Affiliate) is seeking a Technology Care Coordinator with strong experience supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) . This is a blended human‑services and technology role that combines assessment, training, customer outreach, technical configuration, and troubleshooting to ensure each person receives the right technology—and knows how to use it successfully.

The organization combines deep expertise in assistive and enabling technologies with nearly a decade of hands‑on implementation experience in large human‑services environments.

Key Responsibilities

Human Services & Assessment

  • Conduct person‑centered technology assessments for individuals with IDD and other support needs.
  • Develop customized training and support plans based on individual goals, needs, abilities, and daily routines.
  • Provide outreach and relationship‑building with customers, families, providers, support coordinators, state agencies, and MCO partners.

Technology Implementation & Support

  • Configure devices, apps, smart‑home tools, adaptive equipment, and assistive technologies to match individual needs.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues as part of ongoing sustainability support – a key differentiator of LumiCare services.
  • Deliver hands‑on and remote training to individuals and support teams to ensure successful technology adoption.
  • Manage procurement coordination and assist in customizing equipment setups to support independence.
