Trainee Python + UC4 Developer – Market Risk (80% - full-time)

We are looking for a new colleague to join us as a trainee Python and process orchestration developer. This role is meant for people who are finishing / recently finished university studies in IT area – see details below.

During your 18 months trainee program, you will experience work in different agile teams in Financial Risk Management department, and you will get familiar with many different technologies. Most of these teams would be Prague based, but there is the option of a rotation to Frankfurt (Germany) as well. After this program we would like you to stay in our company in one of the teams as a full-time developer with unlimited contract.

The first area you will work on is planned to be Market Risk (MR), where we develop software that our business colleagues use to monitor and manage financial risks arising from market fluctuations, ensuring that the bank’s risk exposure remains within acceptable limits and complies with regulatory standards.

On your first stage you will become a part of the End-to-End (E2E) Services cell in the Market Risk team and will primarily work with technologies such as Python & process orchestration using Automic Automation (UC4). Additionally, the role involves supporting innovative initiatives, including exploring advanced topics like Artificial Intelligence (AI). There will be always more senior colleagues who will help you when needed.

Your first team will comprise of 15 developers and 3 business analysts, located across Frankfurt and Prague. The Product Owner of the team, along with the three business analysts, are based in Frankfurt. Therefore, strong communication skills in English are essential for this role, German or Czech is not required.

Your tasks

Your initial responsibilities will include:

Developing new workflow automation jobs using Automic Automation (UC4).
Participating in the design and development of the Agentic AI framework for Market Risk.

This role is meant for people who are finishing / acquired at least bachelor’s degree in IT – that means:

you are still studying bachelor’s and you graduate till the end of September 2026
you are studying master’s or PhD
you graduated during last 12 months

If you are still studying, we are offering part-time job, 80 % of full-time working hours is the minimum. Full time from the very beginning is of course possible and preferred.

Your profile

We are seeking candidates with these skills:

Experience in Python programming
Exposure to an Agentic Framework and concepts
Basic knowledge of SQL
Good analytical skills
English at least on B2 level

Nice to have:

Exposure to Automic Automation
Knowledge of Java
