Transdev is hiring a V.I.E Technical Manager (M/F) in Koblenz, Germany

Key Responsibilities

As part of its ambition to strengthen operational efficiency and technical performance across its rail activities, Transdev is looking for a proactive Technical Manager (V.I.E) to support train operations in Germany.

Working closely with operational and technical teams, the V.I.E will contribute to ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of maintenance and repair activities, supporting both strategic and day-to-day technical operations.

Within the local organization, the V.I.E will contribute to the development and structuring of technical processes and operational support.

Main responsibilities

• Monitoring and planning maintenance and repair activities
• Supporting problem‐solving initiatives, mainly in a coordination and support role
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
• Providing technical support to operations and acting as a backup for team leaders
• Assisting departments with daily technical and administrative matters
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of technical processes

Your profile

We are looking for a motivated candidate with strong technical understanding and an interest in rail operations and maintenance.

Ideal candidate should have

• A Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Transport Economics, or a related field
• Initial experience working with machines or technical equipment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with teams
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Language requirements: German: C1 level required

The assignment duration is 12 months (renewable).
