Wind Farm Control Engineer (m/w/d)

In this role, you contribute to the development, standardization, and reliable operation of wind farm control systems. You work closely with engineering, project execution, service, and sales teams to ensure clear requirements and robust technical solutions. The role combines technical coordination, specification work, and operational support for the wind farm fleet.

YOUR TASKS

• Act as a technical interface between wind farm control developers and departments such as project execution, service, and sales
• Standardize configurations and technical requirements for wind farm controllers across projects and applications
• Create functional specifications for project-specific developments of wind farm control systems
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for wind farm controller features, configurations, and specifications
• Support training activities by creating training materials, instructions, and tools for project and service teams
• Provide remote fleet support by analyzing wind farm controllers to identify misconfigurations or software issues

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree in engineering, electrical engineering, automation, or a comparable qualification
• At least two years of experience in a similar role related to wind energy, control systems, or automation
• Practical experience with wind farm controllers, SCADA systems, or comparable industrial control solutions
• Ability to translate technical and operational needs into clear and structured functional specifications
• Structured, detail-oriented working style with a strong focus on technical documentation and clarity
• Confidence in technical analysis and remote support of systems in operational environments
• Fluent in English, German/ Spanish skills are a plus
