Mortgage Advisor Responsibilities

Provide mortgage and protection advice to a steady flow of qualified leads
Build and maintain relationships with estate agents and introducers
Manage cases from initial enquiry through to completion
Identify and maximise protection opportunities alongside mortgage advice
Generate new business through networking and referrals (self-gen encouraged)
Maintain compliance with FCA regulations and internal processes

Experience Needed to Become a Mortgage Advisor

CeMAP (or equivalent) qualification is essential
Experience in mortgage advice
Ability to manage your own pipeline and work autonomously
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
Motivated, proactive, and growth‑focused mindset
