Our client, a prominent player in the aerospace sector, is seeking a proactive and dynamic Surface Protection Operations Coordinator for their operations in Hamburg, Germany. This role is integral to ensuring the high-quality execution of surface-protection and sealing work of aircraft structures. Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate surface-protection teams to complete daily tasks safely and efficiently.
Plan, sequence, and execute surface-protection and sealing work in accordance with Airbus and OEM standards.
Ensure all operations follow precise process specifications and are properly documented.
Maintain compliance with Quality Management Systems, including AS9100, EN9100, and ISO 9001.
Coordinate with site functions to ensure materials, equipment, and resources are available.
Monitor performance metrics and take corrective action to maintain production schedules.
Support customer inspections and service‑level audits.
Provide on‑the‑job training and support skills development within the team.
Enforce safety and environmental standards, including proper hazardous‑material management.
Maintain an organized, efficient, and quality‑focused work environment.

Requirements

Completed vocational qualification or equivalent experience in surface protection or coatings.
Hands‑on experience with surface treatment, coating technologies, and corrosion protection.
Proficiency in surface‑protection processes, including chromate conversion and protective coatings.
Ability to interpret and follow controlled Work Instructions.
Aerospace industry and LEAN manufacturing experience preferred.
Knowledge of REACH regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken.
