Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate surface-protection teams to complete daily tasks safely and efficiently.
• Plan, sequence, and execute surface-protection and sealing work in accordance with Airbus and OEM standards.
• Ensure all operations follow precise process specifications and are properly documented.
• Maintain compliance with Quality Management Systems, including AS9100, EN9100, and ISO 9001.
• Coordinate with site functions to ensure materials, equipment, and resources are available.
• Monitor performance metrics and take corrective action to maintain production schedules.
• Support customer inspections and service‑level audits.
• Provide on‑the‑job training and support skills development within the team.
• Enforce safety and environmental standards, including proper hazardous‑material management.
• Maintain an organized, efficient, and quality‑focused work environment.

Requirements

• Completed vocational qualification or equivalent experience in surface protection or coatings.
• Hands‑on experience with surface treatment, coating technologies, and corrosion protection.
• Proficiency in surface‑protection processes, including chromate conversion and protective coatings.
• Ability to interpret and follow controlled Work Instructions.
• Aerospace industry and LEAN manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of REACH regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken.
