A320 Family Captain Upgrade Program — NTR Welcome

Overview

Join a proven upgrade pathway to Captain on the A320 Family. This permanent role is tailored for seasoned turbine pilots with extensive experience on CS-25 aircraft. Bring your command potential—we will provide the A320 training and support you need to take the left seat.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4,500 total flight hours on CS-25 aircraft (turbine).
• Valid EASA ATPL and Class 1 medical.
• Confident verbal and written English; at least ICAO Language Proficiency Level 4.
• General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur/Fachhochschulreife or equivalent).
• EU citizenship or unrestricted residence and work permit.
• Passport with unlimited validity; if not an EU passport, it must carry no stricter entry restrictions than an EU passport.

Training & Transition

A320 type rating is not required for application; training is provided.

• Structured transition to the A320 Family with type rating training provided (NTR).
• Command-focused development designed for experienced CS-25 pilots.

Application Requirements

Ready to take command? Submit a concise application including:

• Current CV/resume.
• Copy of EASA ATPL and Class 1 medical.
• Logbook summary confirming minimum 4,500 hours on CS-25 aircraft.
• Proof of English proficiency (minimum ICAO Level 4).
• Proof of general higher education entrance qualification.
• Passport and evidence of EU citizenship or unrestricted right to live and work.

Licenses & Sponsorship

• Accepted licenses: EASA only.
• Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship is not provided; candidates must already have the right to live and work as required.
• Applications that do not meet the minimum hour and certification requirements cannot be considered.
