Our client is a well-established independent electronic components distributor with an international customer base. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Account Manager to join their team, working remotely from France.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who already understands the independent electronics distribution market and has an established network within the industry.

The Role

As Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and growing revenue across your assigned territory.

You will work with customers across the electronics supply chain, understanding their requirements and providing commercially competitive solutions through the company's extensive supplier and product network.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop existing customer accounts across Eastern Europe
• Identify and win new business opportunities within the electronics industry
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and key decision-makers
• Source and supply electronic components in line with customer requirements
• Prepare and negotiate quotations, pricing and commercial terms
• Manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to order
• Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to identify appropriate sourcing solutions
• Monitor customer demand, market conditions and pricing
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast
• Consistently achieve agreed sales and gross margin targets
• Develop new customer relationships and expand existing accounts

About You

• Previous experience working for an independent electronic components distributor – essential
• A strong understanding of the electronic components distribution market
• Existing relationships within the electronics industry
• Proven experience in B2B account management and business development
• Experience with sourcing, quoting and negotiating electronic components
• A strong commercial understanding of pricing, margins and customer requirements
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• A proactive, entrepreneurial approach to sales
• The ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment
• Fluent English; additional European languages would be advantageous
