Account Manager - Industrial Automation

Account Manager – Aerospace, Entertainment, Government, Water & Wastewater Treatment Markets

Responsibilities

• Implement strategy to increase sales and profits from key accounts.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity.
• Understand customer business needs and work closely with supplier partners to find solutions.
• Give presentations on new products and answer questions about products and company services.
• Attain or exceed sales and profit budget.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience preferred.
• 4-year degree preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP).
• Interest (experience preferred) in automation control, PLC & VFDs, motor control, pneumatics, and electrical services.

Pay and Vehicle Use

Starting salary: $98,221.00, depending on experience. Position is bonus eligible based on specific business metrics. This role requires use of a personal vehicle for business purposes. Graybar offers a Fixed and Variable Rate (FAVR) reimbursement program, allowing employees to use their own vehicle and receive mileage reimbursement. Eligibility may be subject to vehicle age and original MSRP.
