Accountant, Consultant

Responsibilities

• Support clients at changing locations in implementing projects and handling operational matters.
• Carry out projects in financial/accounting accounting (Finanz-/Bilanzbuchhaltung) for clients.
• Support preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB or, where applicable, IFRS, US-GAAP.
• Optimize and further develop accounting processes.
• Provide subject-matter support for system or process implementations.
• Develop innovative ideas and consulting solutions within the team.
• Actively shape your own development plan for professional growth in finance and accounting, for example through internal training in areas such as SAP S/4HANA, Power BI and Scrum.

Requirements

• Successfully completed commercial vocational training and/or certified financial/accounting clerk (Bilanzbuchhalter) (IHK) or a comparable degree.
• Minimum 2–7 years of professional experience in accounting.
• Confident use of a common ERP system (e.g., SAP or DATEV) and good MS Office skills.
• Willingness to travel as required in a consulting environment.
• Team player with strong communication and analytical skills.
• Fluent German language skills.
• A high degree of initiative and enjoyment of independent project work.
