Accountant - German-speaking (HGB / IFRS)

In this role you will manage financial accounting for international entities from the Mannheim area, ensuring compliant German GAAP or IFRS reporting depending on entity location. You will work within the established Accounting team to deliver daily bookkeeping and lead month- and year-end close activities, with strong collaboration on audits in German and English. You’ll support the transition of scalable accounting processes and the transformation of the Accounting Systems. • Financial accounting at local level for multiple entities and subsidiaries
• Prepare financial accounts under HGB/German GAAP or IFRS
• Execute month-end and year-end close processes
• Support external audits and coordinate with auditors in German and English
• Reconcile accounts: Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, Accounts Payable
• Record transactions, post journals, and perform GL reconciliations and data cleansing

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Fluent in German and English
• Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting standards
• Experience as Bilanzbuchhalter / Steuerfachangestellte or in Financial Accounting or Audit
• Location: Mannheim area, hybrid working
