Accountant & Regulatory Officer - Banking Sector

Our client, a well-established banking institution in the heart of Luxembourg, is looking for an Accountant & Regulatory Officer to join their close-knit team of 10. This role offers the best of both worlds: the security of a major group and the versatility of a boutique office , where you will have a 360° view of financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Regulatory Reporting: Preparation and submission of regulatory reports (FINREP, COREP, etc.).

• Tax Compliance: Preparation and filing of tax returns (VAT and Corporate Income Tax) to the relevant authorities.

• Accounting Operations: Recording and monitoring of all banking fees and expenses.

• Audit Management: Preparing, assisting, and following up on annual audits conducted by internal and external auditors.

• Treasury Support: Managing weekly invoice payments.

Required Profile

• Approximately 7 years of experience in a similar role, specifically within the banking sector .

• Strong command of regulatory reporting frameworks and IFRS standards.

• Fluency in English is required; a good command of French is considered a significant plus.

• High level of rigor, autonomy, and a strong team spirit.
