Banking Regulatory Lawyer German Speaker 3/4 years

Introduction :

Our client is a leading global law firm, renowned for its strong international presence and high-level expertise across financial services. As part of the continued growth of its Luxembourg office, the firm is looking to strengthen its Banking & Finance department with the addition of a mid-level associate specialising in banking regulatory matters .

You will join a highly regarded team advising top-tier financial institutions on complex and evolving regulatory frameworks, in a dynamic and international environment.

Responsibilities :

As part of the Banking Regulatory team, you will:

• Advise banks, financial institutions, and investment firms on Luxembourg and European regulatory frameworks
• Work on matters related to compliance, governance, licensing and regulatory developments
• Assist clients in navigating CSSF regulations and ongoing supervisory requirements
• Participate in cross-border projects in collaboration with international offices
• Support clients on regulatory aspects of financial products and services
• Be involved in internal know-how development and regulatory monitoring

Profile :

• Fully qualified lawyer (or in the process of qualification)
• 3 to 4 years of experience within a law firm, ideally with exposure to banking regulatory matters
• Fluent in German and English (French is considered an asset)
• Strong interest in financial regulation and evolving compliance frameworks
• Ability to work in a structured, analytical and client-focused manner
• Team player with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
