Accounting Team Lead – Head of Accounting

Stellenbeschreibung:

Lead and develop the accounting team of 3 employees.
Ensure and oversee financial accounting and the timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB.
Provide clear and meaningful reporting to management and the CFO.
Drive digitization and automation of finance and accounting processes.
Responsible for cash flow management, including liquidity planning and forecasting.
Collaborate with Controlling to ensure robust financial planning and budgeting processes.
Coordinate external annual audit and tax audits.

Requirements

University degree in business administration, economics or a related field — ideally with a focus on finance, accounting or auditing.
Proven track record in the digitization and optimization of finance and accounting processes.
Several years of professional experience in a leadership role within finance and accounting, ideally in an e-commerce, technology or fast-growing company.
Solid knowledge of accounting under HGB and a strong understanding of German tax law.
Confident user of DATEV and ideally experience with other ERP and financial systems.
Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working style.
Business-fluent German and fluent English (minimum B2), both written and spoken.
