Accounts Payable Accountant, m/f/d

Responsibilities

• As an Accounts Payable Accountant (m/f/d), you will play a central role in our finance organization, ensuring our accounts payable processes run smoothly, accurately and on time.
• In a dynamic environment with a high volume of documents, you will be the point of contact for internal departments and external suppliers.
• You will work closely with adjacent teams and gain deep insights into a variety of business transactions.
• In addition to day-to-day tasks, you will actively contribute to projects and continuously develop your professional expertise.

Requirements

• Solid commercial training: You have completed a vocational commercial education, ideally with a focus on accounting.
• Professional experience in accounting: You bring at least 2–4 years of experience in accounts payable or a comparable area.
• Strong accounting knowledge: You have a confident understanding of accounting processes and legal requirements such as GoB (German principles of proper accounting) and VAT.
• System and IT affinity: You are experienced using accounting systems and have a strong affinity for IT-supported processes.
• Advanced Excel skills: You use Excel confidently, including with large datasets, and enjoy working analytically.
• Language skills: You communicate confidently in German and have good English skills for interacting with international partners.
