ACT Junior Associate (up to 2 years’ PQE) - Brussels

Join Freshfields’ Brussels team as a junior lawyer in the market-leading antitrust practice. You will work on complex, cross-border competition and trade issues for diverse clients, while contributing to business development and knowledge management within a global ACT group. The role offers global collaboration, mentoring, and training, with relocation to Brussels required. You will handle analysis, drafting, and submissions, supporting client service at a high standard.

• Analyze competition law and commercial issues to advise clients
• Develop merger clearance strategies and draft/negotiate contract documents
• Engage with competition authorities and courts, including drafting submissions

• Top-class academic qualifications; ideally with an LL.M.
• Prior experience or strong interest in competition and trade law
• Excellent written and oral communication; fluent in English
